*Lick*

ARGH OMG IT'S FINALLY FINISHED I DON'T HAVE TO MESS AROUND WIT IT AGAIN YUSYUSYUS!!!!!!!!

*ahem* sorry, i really needed to get that out of my system...  

this is my first entry for 's competition ( Here  is the info if you are interested.)

for this entry i have drawn 's OC Diablesse showing off one of her more... unique ways of hair styling on her little model Talee, possibly at a "girls night in" or somethng  (Talee is in her nightclothes).  also yes, that is Talee's actual size.  She is a three year old after all (although she INSISTS that she is actually four and her father spent a whole year trying to wake up her grandfather once, but that's a different story...)

 this image was a real hassle to make for a couple of reasons. the biggest one is that while in the middle of this image my style underwent a radical change.   it's not very obvious in the finished pieces, but the way i structure my drawings, layers, and canvases changed completely.  So i was stuck with a half completed image  in a style that felt almost completely backwards to me, and drawings that did not reflect my current level.  i almost scrapped it entirely, but i decided that the drawing was far too cute to just throw away without at least attempting to salvage something from it.  so here it is, a rushed, messy, sloppily blended, and mismatched drawing that can stand as a monument to how suddenly and dramatically a style can change, and to the age old proverb of "if it's a dud, add one metric f**kton of sparkles".   despite my badmouthing of it i do feel quite proud of what i have managed to achieve, though i still want to go back into the past and kick myself for making such a cute concept  so damm difficult to paint...    

anyway, by now you're probably wondeing who on earth is Talee?  well, my partner made up a dungeons and dragons style game in the Dragon ball universe, and this is the character i rolled up.  Talee is a pint sized (even for a toddler) Albino Saiyan who also happens to be the party's tank.   She is also the adopted daughter of a certain god of creation (who just so happens to feature in my gallery a lot) , though how on the two met is something that neither of them will talk about.  the only clue to go on are the large number of scars that cover most of her body.  Like most human  albinos, Talee is mostly blind, and relies almost entirely on her sense of Ki to navigate.  her skin and eyes are also very sensitive to sunlight, and she has to carry sunglasses and a bottle of extra strengh sunblock with her at all times.  other than that she seems to be a perfectly normal Saiyn child, well, most of the time but it've talked about her too much already.  if you are interested in her backstory etc., flick me a note and i'll be happy to tell you more.
